Welcome to Northmark Counselling
I may not know you personally yet, but I know you are here for a reason—and that is enough to begin.
I have dedicated my career to helping men of all ages understand what is happening in their lives, find a clearer direction, and build a life that feels more stable, meaningful, and their own.
You may know that something is not working, but have no idea why.
You may feel stuck, disconnected, frustrated, overwhelmed, or unsure of what needs to change.
Together, we can begin making sense of what has brought you here and identify ways forward that may not feel available to you right now.
You may also be dealing with an addiction or compulsive behaviour in the online space that is affecting your relationships, work, identity, confidence, or ability to be present in your own life.
These experiences can be difficult to talk about, but they do not need to be faced alone.
As a member of Search and Rescue and a registered member of the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF), I also recognize the unique challenges faced by first responders, emergency personnel, and those who regularly carry responsibility for others.
Repeated exposure to stress, trauma, and high-pressure environments can leave lasting effects that are not always easy to recognize or talk about.
My goal is to provide a space where those experiences can be explored with respect, understanding, and without judgment.
Northmark Counselling also supports friends and family members who are trying to understand or help someone they care about while navigating the impact on their own lives.
You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
You only need to be willing to start.
